Is Abortion Pill Reversal Safe On Your Body?

The abortion pill reversal (APR) process is very safe and effective.

Progesterone is used in the APR process, a naturally-occurring hormone in pregnancy and has been used supplementally for pregnancies for more than 50 years. There are no undesired effects known and the hormone is proven effective.

More About The Process

Medical abortion consists of two drugs: Mifepristone and Misoprostol. Mifepristone works to block the hormone progesterone, which causes the uterus to thin. Second, Misoprostol makes the body contract and expel the fetus from the uterus.

During the APR process, a prescription of progesterone is given by a licensed medical professional to try and provide progesterone that Mifepristone initially blocked in the abortion pill process.

Is it Too Late?

You may have already started the process of the abortion pill process due to the fear of what’s to come in an unplanned pregnancy. We understand how high your emotions are, and maybe you did something out of pressure in the moment.

If you’ve only taken the first first dose of the abortion pill and think you’ve made a wrong decision, there is a great chance you can reverse the process, but timing is key.

Be sure to NOT take the second, Misoprostol dose. Even if you’ve taken both, reach out to the abortion pill reversal hotline, as you may still be pregnant, and there is still hope. Contact us immediately.

You can do this. You are stronger than you know.
