Need Testing?
We offer free limited STI testing for women. We test for the three most common STIs found in women – gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomonas. Did you know most women who test positive for these don’t experience any symptoms? Side effects of leaving these STIs untreated include infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease and cervical cancer. If you’re sexually active, it is recommended to be tested regularly. You can get tested right away with a PDHC nurse, without waiting in line or worrying about being turned away.
75% to 85% of women with STIs do not have symptoms. STIs can damage your organs and impact your fertility, so if you are sexually active, it is important to get tested regularly.
Do you know your rights as a college student if you become pregnant?
All schools must give pregnant and parenting students the same access to school programs and educational opportunities that are available to other students. To learn more about your rights, visit standingwithyou.org/students-rights
